I really need #2, my plants were starting to die because they didn't get watered for over 3 weeks before I noticed that the system was in some water saving mode thinking my soil would still have enough humidity, which wasn't really true after 3 weeks and no rain, even if it was winter.
So I'd really like a setting to say "water every 14 days if it didn't rain, no matter what soil humidity calculations may say"
While we're at it, it would also be useful to say "water after XX days even if it rained recently", so I can force a watering every 2, 3, or 4 weeks
