Touch HD-12 - logging to screen with crazy characters and cannot use USB WiFi interface

Hello,

Last fall, I lost the ability to remotely access my RM HD-12 and the UI appears to be logging events on the right side of the screen with a mix of readable information and some other crazy character set. It also feels like it's an issue with the WiFi networking code since I can still use the TP-Link adapter on another computer. I've had it off for weeks and the same thing still occurs.

It seems like it needs to be reflashed but I don't know if that is possible w/o networking support.

Any help would be appreciated!
