1. Do I need to pay in order to control my RainMachine device?
Our RainMachine devices are "cloud-independent by design" and they can be controlled locally from the home network or remotely using the Direct Access feature. With the Premium Services subscription you will get fast and secure and already set up cloud remote access connection and other benefits including shared access, instant notifications, smart IoT integrations, advanced reports and discounts for hardware replacement and fixes.
Note: Direct Access feature has to be set up for each RainMachine device you may have. A cloud connection and an email account are not required for this feature.
2. Do I lose weather data for my RainMachine device?
No. Weather data is available for free for all users.
3. What if I own multiple RainMachine devices?
It doesn't matter how many RainMachine devices you have. If they all are associated with the same RainMachine Remote Access email account used when purchasing RainMachine Premium Services subscription, then all are covered by the premium benefits, no matter how old they are.
4. Can I test before I buy?
Yes. Starting June 08 2022, all RainMachine users will get RainMachine Premium Trial Services, free for 1 month, no Credit Card info required and no automatic subscription enroll. After the Trial will end, you can choose to subscribe, or not, for as low as $29.99/year.
5. How to buy the RainMachine Premium Services subscription?
Currently, RainMachine Premium Services subscription can be purchased for $29.99/year using the RainMachine Apple iOS app, RainMachine Android app, or RainMachine Web app. The Premium Services subscription will be linked to your RainMachine Remote Access email account and it will be available through all RainMachine applications.
Note: The 30 Days Trial needs to end in order to be able to subscribe using RainMachine Android and Web apps. Using RainMachine iOS app you can subscribe to Premium Services during the 30 Days Trial period.
6. How to Cancel the RainMachine Premium Services subscription?
The RainMachine Premium Services subscription is an optional, paid-for feature. It is valid for 1 year after purchase. There are no reasons why you should cancel it, but if you want to, you can cancel it through the app you used to purchase it.
Note: If you used the RainMachine Apple iOS app, you can cancel it under your Apple ID Subscription page, but still Premium Services will be linked to your account until the 1-year subscription period will end. If you purchased through the RainMachine Android or Web RainMachine apps, then you should contact our Support team and they will cancel it for you.
7. RainMachine Premium Services subscription is included with a new RainMachine device purchase?
Yes. Every time you purchase a new RainMachine device, you will automatically get a 1-year RainMachine Premium Services subscription linked to the RainMachine Remote Access email account successfully validated for that new device.
