Zone Photos Disappear

What would cause the zone photos to keep disappearing on me? There one day, gone the next. Not all, but some.

  About a month later and a new app update for iOS, I thought my missing zone photos might reappear. No such luck. This is disappointing. My Android phone shows all the current zone photos as it should.

  will this ever get fixed?
