The new RainMachine mobile app introduces an enhanced "DEVICES" screen, which offers improved organization and accessibility for managing your RainMachine devices. Let's explore each section of the "DEVICES" screen
1. Unconfigured Devices
In the Unconfigured Devices section, you'll find a list of RainMachine devices that have been discovered nearby and are pending configuration (the "setup" label will show up next to their name). These devices have not been configured yet and require initial setup steps to connect them to your network and account. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure and add these devices to your RainMachine app.
2. Local Network
The Local Network section displays RainMachine devices that have been discovered and are connected to the same Wi-Fi local network as your iOS device. These devices are already set up and connected. You can easily access and control them from within the app. Tap on a device to view and manage its settings, schedules, and watering programs.

3. Direct Access
The Direct Access section allows you to manually add RainMachine devices to the app using the Direct Access feature. Follow these steps to add a device using Direct Access:

Once added, the device will appear in the Direct Access section, and you can manage it as part of your RainMachine devices.
4. Remote Access (for RainMachine Premium Services subscribed users)
The Remote Access section lists RainMachine devices associated with RainMachine Remote Access email accounts. Each account is displayed with its Premium status, indicating whether it has an active Premium subscription or not. You can see the RainMachine devices linked to each account. Tap on an account to access the account information.
Note: If the RainMachine Remote Access email account is not listed on DEVICES screen under the "Remote Access" section it might be because the account is not signed in within the mobile app or it was deleted. To add it/sign in back, tap on the upper menu icon and choose "Accounts (Sign in)" option then add your RainMachine Remote Access email account and your RainMachine password and tap on the "Sign in with RainMachine" button. Once successful, go back to DEVICES screen and your email account should be listed.
5. Shared with Me
The Shared with Me section shows RainMachine devices that have been shared with you by other RainMachine Premium users. These users have granted you access to their devices, and you have accepted their invitation. In this section, you can view and control the shared devices, ensuring easy collaboration and management.

Note: The RainMachine Android mobile app will not show all the new DEVICES screen sections, but the listing are the same. The Local Network devices will have the RainMachine device local IP address listed under their name and the Remote Access ones will have the "Remote Access" label under their name.
