When setting up your First Account, or if you have Multiple Accounts, you will start off on the device screen. If you already have Local, Remote Access, or Direct Access setup you will see them here. You also have a Refresh button in the top right corner. You can then manage a unit by tapping on it in the list. |

Remote Access - Allows you to add an Email Address and the RainMachine device password to be used as Remote Access account credentials. (Diagram 1.3) Network Settings - Allows you add Remote Access by IP Address and Password or enable/disable Local Discovery. (Diagram 1.4) |
After Remote Access Account Setup, you can add your Email Address and RainMachine device password. This allows for remote access and control of the RainMachine device outside of your local WiFi, anywhere you have a mobile data internet connection. |

Local Discovery - Enable/Disable local discovery. Disabling Local discovery will force all connections through RainMachine Proxy Service (Remote Access). Note: Local Discovery might not work in LAN environments with multiple WiFi repeaters. Direct Access - Add Remote Access by Public IP Address and Password/Temp Pin. Note: Requires Port Mapping on the router hosting the RainMachine. |
