So just installed new second gen mini8, so i looked at the suggest times and wanted to understand it more. For my drips i use to run those on the old manual system for 30 minutes twice a week. The suggestion time was at over 2 hours. Now by me setting it to 30 minutes is the each times it run or does it devide it over my two allowed scheduled days? Some area information i live in the tampa area in florida so i set my soil to loamy sand. So far i like this unit hope it turns out for the best.

  Hi,

  It won't divide, it will run 30 minutes +/- a certain amount depending on weather (rain and plant evapotranspiration) on every program selected day.

  Run times are affected by vegetation type, sprinkler/drip type and exposure. Our surface drip setting has a precipitation rate of 0.5 inch/hour, maybe yours has more, you can fix that by using a custom sprinkler head and input your system precipitation rate.
