Silty loam soil type
I think this has been asked before, but I didn't see an answer: is it possible to add silty loam as a soil type? I did the mason jar test and I got 49% silt, 37% sand, 14% clay. This fits with the expected soil type for my area from the USDA WSS.
Some internet research suggests that good values for this soil might be field capacity 0.31, intake rate 0.3 but I really don't know if this is correct!

Yes your values are good.
We are going to add this in the next update (we're still reviewing the numbers) but it's close to what you determined:
Silt Loam: IR: 0.32 (in/h) FC: 0.25%
There is a difference in Field Capacity but yours is better as we need to conform to certain values from EPA irrigation auditor which aren't always the best.

Ok thanks. I set these custom values but I think I'm seeing a bug. Using the web UI, I chose Custom and set the values to IR=0.32 FC=0.31. This saved just fine. But then I used the Android app to edit the zone (to add a picture) and found that the FC had changed to 0.012204732.
This is fully reproducible, and I tried with other values. When you edit the zone in the Android app, even if you just hit Save without changing anything, the FC will change to approximately 1/25.4 of its previous value.
Are you able to look into this?

Yes, units show as US in both the web UI and the Android app. But it looks like the Andriod app is converting mm to inches anyway. Every time you save the zone, you get another conversion.
Also note that this is FC we're talking about, which is a percentage, there are no units. So no conversion should ever be done on this value.
