    Hi,

Our online shop in the European Union will be launched next month, we'll let you know when it's available.

    Hi,

The website for Europe has been launched here: https://shop.rainmachine.eu/. The warehouse is located within European Union so there shouldn't be any import fees for Norway/Spain, only the applicable VAT and shipping costs.

    Hi,

What is it about Switzerland if I would order over  https://shop.rainmachine.eu/....the same like Norway/Spain, mean price+shipping costs+VAT. Might there be any additional costs like import fees, etc.

Unfortunately the shop website is not that informative with this....

Another thing...what kind of power supply do you provide with the device? Is this a 230V/AC to 24V/AC with an european plug?

    Many thanks for your reply.

    Hello Frank,
I couldn't say too much about overall costs using EU webshop, I bought device in US one before shop was open.
EU power supply is announced with model&price at http://www.rainmachine.eu/products/accessories.html as available from 30 August.
Specs shows 220V AC-AC power adapter for Europe (not 230V ?), next in details is INPUT: 120V AC 60Hz 0.3A (36w), probably all by mistake.
So hard to say now if it will be part of ready EU product, or just add-on.

The devices from https://shop.rainmachine.eu/ come with an additional european adapter.

    Hi Nicholas
Could you be so kind and explain it in details ? :-)
MKA-2400750GS power adapter is just new one EU model, with different transformer & plug ?
Or it is just MKA-482400750 with travel EU->US adapter (voltage reductor) added ? I'm lost :-)

Currently the EU shop delivers units with a different EU compatible adapter (220V input) than the one shown on US shop (which is not yet available).

There is also a mistake on US shop listing the EU adapter at 120V input although it's 220V input.

Clear, except one. Why 220V AC ?
In most EU countries power AC is 230V ... RMs are enough tolerant with it ?

I'm not sure either, but most manufacturers that I saw still label their products 220V, although it works fine from 220V - 240V.

Australia also requires 240V although it does have a different pin configuration. Does the 220V EU power supply come with an AU (Australian) pin adaptor?

Hi Nicholas, many thanks for your quick and supportive replies. Who owns the https://shop.rainmachine.eu/ website (missing impressum) and who will be the contact person/distributor in case of problems?

Ben, the EU shop doesn't carry  adapters for Australia

    Thanks Nicholas.

I had to buy an AU pin transformer for my unit. It cost me about $30AUD. I threw the US transformer in the bin. Perhaps the RainMachine could be sold without a power supply to reduce waste and cost? The transformer could be sold as an optional added extra.

    Frank,

The EU shop is operated by one of our subsidiaries, the support is done through same channels

    Nicholas,

Ordered @ you EU shop. Worked perfectly. An EU transformer was also included and I was able to set up the device. Re to the US transformer...I would also do things like Ben suggested. Would underline your green strategy.
