HD-12.....is there a battery backup in this product?

If not, how is the programing information maintained?

  Hi, Davekst
  There is no battery backup on the RainMachine Touch HD-12, but our devices have internal memory that saves all the info. So if you close it for winter and plug it back in the spring you will not lose anything you had saved like: programs, zones settings, restrictions and so on.

  This is a big problem because if power goes out, nothing gets watered. Please consider an add-on module to provide this support.

  There are many Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) solutions right now on the market that can fix the main power line issues and keep the RainMachine running until the main power will be back up.
