    Unless you have rain or very humid / cold weather it will water to replenish what water had evaporated from soil and transpired from plants. EvapoTranspiration (ET) can be seen

    on Web UI in Settings > Weather > Weather sources comparison graph (ET tab).QPF (predicted precipitation) is in the same graph.

     

    Also the watering history on Web UI lists ET and QPF for each program that had run. If you post some screenshots here, we can go through them.

    It would be nice to have a setting that has the controller water when the predicted soil moisture reaches a certain level.  Keeping soil moist everyday is not good for plants, nor does it promote deeper root growth.  Also, can you tell me what the baseline is that the controller uses to base its decisions on or how does it know what the soil moisture is starting at?  Thanks.
