Schedule set up
I have a set up issue. I have the timer set up for daily watering for different types of vegetation (e.g. lawn, cactus, fruit trees, etc.); however, the program still wants to water every day. I am not sure why this would be the case if the controller uses weather, vegetation type and water history in the algorithm. Am I missing something here?

Unless you have rain or very humid / cold weather it will water to replenish what water had evaporated from soil and transpired from plants. EvapoTranspiration (ET) can be seen
on Web UI in Settings > Weather > Weather sources comparison graph (ET tab).QPF (predicted precipitation) is in the same graph.
Also the watering history on Web UI lists ET and QPF for each program that had run. If you post some screenshots here, we can go through them.

It would be nice to have a setting that has the controller water when the predicted soil moisture reaches a certain level. Keeping soil moist everyday is not good for plants, nor does it promote deeper root growth. Also, can you tell me what the baseline is that the controller uses to base its decisions on or how does it know what the soil moisture is starting at? Thanks.
