Rain Sensor and RM8
Hate to bring up rain sensors again, but I know when the device is hooked up to my rain machine, (not in series with the common and the valves), you can set a setting in the GUI to have it turn watering off if rain is detecting using a hardware sensor. An obvious option.
My question is, if I leave that setting alone and if rain has opened my rain sensor contacts, (again NOT in series with the valves), will the RainMachine make some modifications to the watering schedule?
Or will it just keep the regular schedule modified only by what the weather data (NOAA or other) states is happening?
Thanks!

Hi Greg! No I never did get an answer only what I sort of figured out. It will continue as normal by not enabling it, go back to normal after rain has passed, (I.E., the rain sensor has dried out closing the contacts again), and a pause is about it.
I was sort of hoping that it might combine the fact that rain was seen with the weather data and extrapolate a different schedule. But, it wouldn't know how much rain fell, etc.
