How to Reconnect
I've have an Mini-8 that I was able to set up with no problems. Now, a week later I find that it shows offline and the LED on the front panel is circling but the WiFi LED shows steady. How do I reconnect to my wifi? The signal strength is strong at the device. The manual shows how to do an initial setup but never says how to reconnect after it drops the signal.
I pressed the reset button and now instead of showing my system offline it says "No Rainmachines Found".

Hi, Ed
To reset the WI-Fi settings on RainMachine Mini-8 you have to follow these steps
So, after you press the RESET button for 5 seconds and release it, you'll hear a beep sound - the RainMachine Mini-8 will reboot and will enter in AP Mode showing the letter A on the digit display.
- Go and open your mobile phone Wi-Fi settings and look the network called: RainMachine-XXXXX (where XXXXX is an autogenerated number).
- Tap on it and it will automatically connect. If you have a mobile data connection enabled on your phone, that will be used as internet connection, but your phone will be connected to the RainMachine Mini-8 Wi-Fi Access Point.
- Open the RainMachine mobile app on your phone
- On the Devices screen, you'll see only the RainMachine Mini-8 listed
- Tap on it and you will get into the WI-Fi network selection screen
- Find your home Wi-Fi Network and tap on it
- Enter its password and let the RainMachine Mini-8 connect to it
- When successful, the phone and the RainMachine Mini-8 will reconnect to your home Wi-Fi network.Hope this helps, Ed
Thank you

Hi, Ed
The next step is to fully reset your RainMachine Mini-8 to factory defaults.
For this, you need to press the RESET button for up to 15-20 seconds and release it. After the beep sound, Mini-8 will reboot and you will have to set it up again from the start.
After that, you may restore from backup the zones, programs and restrictions settings. Go to RainMachine mobile app - Settings - System Settings - Restore from Backup and choose a version of the Mini-8 backup from the list.
Important: Because you were using the latest version of our RainMachine mobile application there is a backup saved already on your phone including your zones, programs and restrictions settings.
Hope this helps, EdThank you,

Tried that, got it to reset, followed by the flashing LED again.
I have already called in to your shop and I have a replacement being shipped to me. I just posting here now for completeness. In addition to the troubleshooting tips you posted they had me unplug for 1/2 hour and reapply power. That, of course, didn't work either.
