Touch HD-16 Stuck on Loading Screen
I have a Touch HD-16 that is currently experiencing problems. I am unable to access the device from the mobile (Android) app, though I am still receiving notifications that the device is starting and completing various watering schedules. When I went to the unit and woke it up the screen showed the Advanced Settings page with the popup "Power cycling the device needed. (Error: 2 exceptions occurred.)" displayed momentarily. I can scroll through all of the advanced menus and can even go to the watering screen and manually start and stop zones, but once I select the home button, I'm met with "Loading Rainmachine Data" for several seconds and then am taken to the Advanced Settings page with the popup again. I have power cycled the device by using the reset button as well as unplugging it. I have also reset the device multiple times and attempted a restoration to the latest backup 3/13/21 (I never made a backup, that was the only one available to me). From the touchscreen, I submitted a diagnostics report that showed successfully being sent.
I am hesitant to try a factory reset as the device is currently still watering as it should and if the factory reset does not fully fix the problem I will then be dead in the water.

No need to Factory Reset the device, that would be the last step.
You can help by uploading the device log diagnostics. Go to Advanced Settings - System - Updates & Restore - Send diagnostics. We will have a look and see where the issue is.
