After reset devices will not connect to presented AP (mini-8) to allow setup
Hi
I changed my router, and needed to reconnect my mini-8. I press the reset for 5 sec and it beeps and the rainmachine AP appears - However, I cannot connect to it from both phone and PC - it is as though the DHCP is not working - I did some changes a while back to prevent the mini-8 to act as DHCP router (other devices connected to it).
I have tried to do a full reset but I only hear 1 been after waiting 15-20 sec with reset button pressed. Is there a different method to do a full factory reset.
Any help is appreciated

First, please have a look at the RainMachine mobile app - tap on the hamburger upper left menu and choose Network Settings and see if the Local Discovery is ON, if it's not, switch it on.
What mobile phone do you use to set up the Mini-8 Wi-Fi?
It might help to reboot the phone and try connecting again to Mini-8 AP Mode. Make sure you have the latest RainMachine mobile app installed from the app store (iOS or Android).
Also, if you pressed the RESET button for more than 15 seconds and you hear a beep, once the Mini-8 reboots into the AP mode ("A" on the display) then the Mini-8 has been successfully reset to its factory settings.
When Mini-8 is in the Access Point Setup Mode ("A" on the display) the RainMachine mobile app should automatically discover the device and list it under the DEVICES screen with the "setup" label next to it. If that doesn't work, you might need to access the mobile phone Settings - Wi-Fi - look for the RainMachine-XXXXXX network from the discovered wi-fi networks list and tap on it to connect. After that, return to the RainMachine mobile app and you should get the device listed.
