post current Rain status (ON/OFF only) using the API

I am using a local Weather Station with rain on/off capability only. The WeatherStation is fully integrated in the current SmartHome Solution and I just want to Post the current rain Status (ON/OFF) using the API.

  That would be a gread addition to a mqtt interface ;)
