Inherited a Rainmachine Mini -- won't connect to network

I just moved into a new house that has a Rainmachine network. The previous owner left a manual, but we can't get it to connect to the network. I've reset the WiFi on the unit, our router, and reset the entire system per the instructions. Still, the unit will not show up as a WiFi network on our phone to move forward. It is a rainmachine mini.

    1. Power down the RainMachine Unit.

    2. Wait 5 Seconds and power up the RainMachine Unit.

    3. Wait 3 Minutes for the RainMachine to finish booting.

    4. Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds. After letting go, you should hear a loud beep.

    5. Wait 2-3 Minutes until an A appears on the RainMachine display.

    6. At this point, from your Smart Device, go to your personal WiFi setting and connect to the RainMachine WiFi.

    7. From your Smart Device open the RainMachine App.

    8. From the devices screen you should seen your unit with Setup appended to it, click on it.

    9. The Screen should instruct you from here.

     

    If you still are having trouble you will want to try a full factory reset by doing the following.

    When you are finished you will be able to restore from a back on the device or on your smart phone.

    Restore from Backup

     

    1. Power down the RainMachine Unit.

    2. Wait 5 Seconds and power up the RainMachine Unit.

    3. Wait 3 Minutes for the RainMachine to finish booting.

    4. Press and hold the Reset button for 15 seconds. After letting go, you should hear a loud beep.

    5. Wait 2-3 minutes for the unit to finish booting up.

    6. Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds. After letting go, you should hear a loud beep.

    7. Wait 2-3 Minutes until an A appears on the RainMachine display.

    8. At this point, from your Smart Device, go to your personal WiFi setting and connect to the RainMachine WiFi.

    9. From your Smart Device open the RainMachine App.

    10. From the devices screen you should seen your unit with Setup appended to it, click on it.

    11. The Screen should instruct you from here including restore.
