I agree, we actually started adding "help" sections to web interface. As for NetAtmo we do keep more than 1 day history but we'll have to check if there aren't some cases where the graphing on web interface is not showing the full history.

These are comments by your staffer Brandon M.:

"Unfortunately it is showing up correctly, it can only display 1 day there, and will only display the previous day."
"Unfortunately the Natmato will only show 1 day of observed rain, and it will always be the previous day. So if you wanted to check it for accuracy you would have to do it the day after the day you want to check each time. Thanks in advance for your time and patience."

These are captured from e-mails regarding the Netatmo rain gauge recording issue. Seems he has investigated and suggested I post here to get this feature initiated.

On our test machines, netatmo has a history. I don't have a good graph now only with 0mm reported, as here it's a long period of drought.

here are the graphs for may and first few days of june. as you can see, the rainmachine does not record what the netatmo sees.

I guess you added the module MAC to the list of Custom Modules  as I see some resemblance between netatmo reporting and observed rain. But the data until May 22 is missing completely is this because it wasn't active until May 22 or it didn't get data from netatmo ?

i dont know what MAC is:

There is no data what-so-ever for the netatmo in the weather services graph. the red is the rainmachine mixer. netatmo should be shown in blue and all the data is missing

Click on RainMachine Mixer to hide the red graph, the blue from NetAtmo should be exactly the same as Mixer since it's a single source.

cool, got it. but now why the lack of completeness? still only showing limited netatmo data.

It's not something we can control, if it shows on your netatmo dashboard it might not be available when we query it (every 6 hours).

I would try to specify the rain gauge module on specificModules entry. You have a list of availableModules get their address (in aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff format) and paste it below.

If you want to list more than 1 module separate their addresses by comma (,). This can improve the readings by actually saving the data from that module specifically.

it's ok, looks like for whatever reason the rainmachine/netatmo connection was not happening. i will monitor and if necessary will contact you again. thank you so much for your patience and help.

Yes, keep us posted, your setup is correct. We do monitor with 3 netatmo stations but usually reports match our dashboards.
