No Functionality on Google Pixel 2 Android

The Rain Machine app can locate and connect to the Mini-8. However beyond this none of the settings can be changed.

For example, when I try to change the name, the name of the device does not change and remains as "RainMachine Demo".

I was able to complete set-up and successfully update the settings on an ipad. However, even after completing set-up on ios, the settings do not carry over and do not reflect what the ipad does on my andriod phone (Google pixel 2).

It would be nice to be able to use my android phone to manage the Mini-8.

  Hi Adam,

  The RainMachine Demo is not a real unit, it's a virtual RainMachine just for demo purposes. If this appears on your phone it means that your phone:

  1. Doesn't see any RainMachine devices on your WIFI network (maybe the phone is on 3G or another WIFI ?) 

  2. You have no remote access user configured on that phone.

  I would try to add your remote access configured email to the phone by going to the Remote Access menu from the 3 dot button on the top corner.
