Not watering past zone 3 or 4 (waiting for IP address?)
FixedType: Rain Machine Touch HD-16
Firmware: 4.0.944 (No updates)

ISSUE: Love my rain machine and everything was working fine on my 'original program' on June 1, running zones 2-14 (zone 1 master valve). Then on June 3, 'original program' runs zone 2, 3 and 4 and then stops and runs no other zones. Then on June 5, 'original program' runs zones 2 and 3 and then stops and runs no other zones. This has repeated itself until today.

Updated firmware
Rebooted system

OTHER NOTES:
- Noticed that CPU usage on RM was at 100% before reboot.
-Diagnostic logs describe something about "waiting for IP address" after finishing zone 3 and before going to zone 4. Could that be the issue and how do I resolve? Diagnostics have been submitted.
-Problem appears to be isolated to zone 4 as when i skip or turn off this zone the program runs fine.

So your issue was happening before updating to current beta version (.944) ?
What happens if you actually remove the wiring from zone 4 without disabling zone in software ?
The 100% CPU shouldn't affect anything and actually the report of this is not always correct.
The Waiting for IP address should only happen after a reboot and it's because RainMachine waits for WIFI to come up. If it doesn't come after 40 retries it will start the software and will check after 2 minutes again in a loop.

I think it's something electrically wrong with either wiring or the valve itself. The unit actually reboots as there would be a short on this valve.
Also, the valve could be stuck and generating a lot of loads which might also trigger the RainMachine protection.
