From the error message "<urlopen error [Errno 7] No address associated with hostname>" it look like the system is having trouble with DNS when trying to turn the hostname into an IP.
Not sure if you can see the DNS settings via the web interface but you could try via SSH.

    G'day Richard,

No problems at all, and understandable.  Thank you very much for developing the parser in the first place.

Jon and Nick - Yep, rebooted and same problem, but I think Nick has hit the nail on the head saying it may be a DNS issue as the standard parser gives the same error and I may have encounted the problem that's described here - https://support.rainmachine.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360051423613-DNS-resolution-issues-bad-default-network-config

I'll do some reading and figure out what commands to run via SSH and see if that fixes it.  I may try and do a factory reset/restore too.

    Cheers

Just an update on the problem I had.

I did a reset to factory defaults via the rainmachine touchscreen.  During the reset the rainmachine asked me if I wanted to keep the restore settings that it had saved - I answered yes to that.  Then it started the reset to factory defaults process, which then prompted me to set the rainmachine up again.

During the set up process it asked me if I wanted to restore the configuration file that I told it to keep, and that restored all the programs and zone info.

Once that was done I could tell it had fixed the problem I was having - it could now see the internet again :)

I then had to set up the amazing Willy Weather parser with my API key and station id and save.

It was a pretty easy process and didn't take long.  The hardest part was typing the info in using the touch screen on the rainmachine!
