It Didn't Rain Button

 It would be great, if there could be some way to tell the system that even though the weather forecast called for rain, we didn't get any. This time of year were I live (central Florida) we have always a 20% chance of rain, but it just never actually rains half of the time. Therefore, the rain machine system doesn't water and we end up having to manually run it or watch the grass die out.

I know that a PWS could help, but don't care to invest in one right now.

Perhaps some small wifi in-ground soil moisture sensor should be included with each Rain machine, that would help avoid this problem.

  RainMachine do not take into consideration the chances of rain, but how much rain was actually reported by your weather service.
  If this is not so accurate as you said, please use the WUnderground weather service and select the nearest weather station from your area.

  Also, you can choose to adjust the Rain Sensitivity under Settings - Weather to lower how much rain should be taken into consideration by RainMachine.
