Master Valve - Water Hammer (Close Master Valve Early)

I would like to close my Master Valve some seconds before the Zones are over. Since the master valve that I have is motorized it will mitigate the water hammer. 

If the master Valve allow negative numbers will be a simple solution that could solve many problems in the system.

  I know this is an old post, but something that I have been hoping to get implemented as well. Any idea when this might be possible?

  I'm doing this now.  In Configure Master set the master station. Normally the master opens/closes at the same time as the downstream.  Set the Master On adjustment to a positive amount (time to open after the downstream opens) and the master off to a negative amount (time to close before the downstream closes).  Note your master applies to all zones so if you need to have different times/ not use the master/etc the only way I know of is to have another controller.
