Ambient Weather and Personal Weather Station Direct Connections

I think it would be a great idea to add support for Ambient Weather AND also support to have a Personal Weather Station (PWS) connect directly to RainMachine. Many of us have Personal Weather Stations and I think a good majority are using Ambient Weather as well, and though Dark Sky is now available for "hyper local weather" nothing beats your own PWS or your neighbors PWS!

It would be great to see ambient weather as an option within the RainMachine app, along with an option to connect directly to your PWS!

  I totally agree. I tried to install that parser and it won't install. Not sure if this is issue with rainmachine compatibility or his parser, he is looking in to it. personally i think there should be a 'rainmachine' version that is built in.

  

  i tried chrome/firefox/edge.

  i am on win10 pro.

  rainmachine support, are you able to get this parser to work on your win10 machine? i have a mini8 fw 4.0.989

  been raining so haven't had to enable my sprinklers yet, but any update on this? i would love to get my ambient weather station linked to rainmachine again!

  If someone wants to send me some hardware to test with I'd be happy to do so. I only have my HD-16 and it works fine on that one.

  The Mini-8 seems to be forever out of stock now. Only the Pro and Touch HD are available for purchase. So I'm not sure what else I can do since I can't test it on the hardware you're using.

  I also would love to see the ability to use Ambient Weather, or better yet, directly pull data from a PWS.  I use Meteobridge to collect and distribute data to many sites and devices.  It would be nice to be able to send data directly to the Rainmachine site.
