Leak notification

Hello

RM Pro-16

First: this thing is great and works as it should. Setup was flawless!

But I do have the issue, that I constantly get notifications regarding leaks detected. However, there is no leak at all.

First I thought, that the problem is caused by the flow sensor (Greeniq hall sensor). But when I observe the counter on the RM itself I can see, that there is only an increasing counter, when another faucet in the house is opened and then closed again. The counter increases only by the amount of 2... I assume, that this comes from the loss of pressure in the pipes. 

According to my settings this equals to the amount of 6 mililiters (!). Is there any possibility to increase this threshold? i.e. leak, if 100 clicks observed? Or report a leak, if the aequivalent clicks of x liter water is reached?

Or is this flow meter just too sensitive? If yes, what should be bought for replacement? With mine, 1 m3 = 330000 clicks / 1 liter = 330 clicks, which is quite a number...

 

 

On a further notice: would it be possible to have liters as a measurement instead of m3 (overall in the application)? I mean, usually we do count in liters and not in 1k liters (except for total water used in the gauge).

  The threshold is indeed 2 clicks per 10 minutes. I have the same problem you're describing, and for me one pulse is about 16 ml.

  The threshold needs to change to a litres per 10 minute value instead of a clicks per 10 minute value as the litres per click can vary greatly amongst different manufacturers sensors. Or make the threshold configurable.

  I'm experiencing the same problem. When another tap is turned on I see the click count go up a few clicks. I know the flow sensor should be between the master valve and other valves but some people of unique situations and it would be great to be able to change either the threshold of number of clicks in the 10 min period, or even disable leak detection?

  I put my flow sensor before the master valve because my primary use for it is leak detection not consumption.
