HD-12 lost everything
Just checked my HD-12 and it seems to have gone through a factory reset. Lost everything and I have no way to restore it. Not sure why or how this could have happened.

Indeed it is very strange behaviour.
First you said "Just checked my HD-12" how did you checked it? Using the RainMachine mobile or web app?
This could be happening because of the miscommunication between your mobile device and the RainMachine.
Remember that you have the latest backup of your Zones, Programs and Restrictions saved on your phone and on the RainMachine Touch HD-12 device as well.
After a Reset to Factory defaults you can always restore those settings from backup.
We're glad it all sort it out in the end, but we need to know understand the circumstances.

My apologies for not being very clear. It seems to be working now, but I wanted to clarify a few thing...
During the problem that I reported, I checked my HD-12 via my iOS RainMachine mobile app which I always keep updated. It showed that the app was communicating to the RainMachine, but just showed an empty unit and there was not any backups to download. That is when I reset the RainMachine and my WiFi router and then just let everything sit for a few hours which seems to clear everything up.

Thank you for letting us know.Sometimes, for your issue, a simple power off (unplug for the power outlet) and then power back on of the RainMachine device and your WI-FI router would fix this issue.
The Factory Reset option is the last resort, but as we said, even if you go and reset your RainMachine device, a backup is stored already on your mobile phone/tablet with the latest Zones, Programs, and Restriction settings.Hope this helps, Rick
