Mini-8 not responding/won’t water

Sometime in the past month I realized the mini-8 was acting odd.  It would blink the Wi-Fi light randomly and the numeric LED would cycle in circles.  The other lights would start sop occasionally but no watering.  The app doesn’t work at all anymore.  It just has a loading circle and I can’t get it to open up the controller at all.  I unplugged/plugged in many many times and that hasn’t helped.  I’ve tried to log in directly with the IP address and :8080 in the url and that doesn’t let me in.  I am about to have to just buy a new controller because I can’t seem to find any fix for this.  Please help!
