Rain Machine Pro-8 stuck on "Loading..." after install

I just installed my Rain Machine Pro-8. It stayed on the "Loading..." screen with the wi-fi button flashing for an hour. I did a hard reset by holding the reset button for 15 seconds, and have so far waited another hour with the same results. Occasionally I'll see the loading bar restart, and none of the buttons seem to be doing anything. Faulty device? Do I just need to be more patient? Or some other issue I can fix?

  Blinking WIFI means it's looking for the configured WIFI SSID.

  If after reset (15 seconds) you can't setup again from a mobile app it will be the best to write to support for a RMA.
