Hello,

I'd like to request support Davis' Weatherlink LIVE with integration into RainMachine.  There are a few users requesting this based on posts and I've contacted the programmer for the current parser listed on the RM website.

Here's what I've learned...

**RM supports Davis Weather Stations through a custom parser and logging device, API v1

** RM supports data through WU which requires a 3rd party and unsure if they are distributing APIs

**Davis now uses it's own weather service "Weatherlink LIVE" which requires API v2 and no separate logging device

**Custom parser from 2018 on website can only use APIv1 and therefore does not support the commonly used Weatherlink LIVE

** integration of data from weatherlink LIVE should be relatively straightforward for use with RM irrigation controller.  

Please let me know if any additional information is required or if there is a solution I'm missing

  Hello, I'd appreciate thoughts on this and thought it was a reasonable request given the WU issues and previous support for API v1.  Is there another work around that I might have overlooked?

  I second that.  Only V2 is supported by weatherlink.com

  I would find this feature very useful. I plan on using my Rainmachine to control the irrigation system for a future pecan orchard. Having the ability to accurately limit pump run times based on actual measured precipitation at the orchard would allow me to save a tremendous amount of water.

  Hello Everyone!  I just wanted to see if anyone else has interest in this feature.  It should be fairly easy to incorporate Weatherlink Live data which would be great for anyone with a station nearby!  It will use actuals near your location....please comment if interested -- would love to see this as part of RainMachine!
