Pro-16 loses wifi connection after disabling wifi setup network
is this normal behavior?
I had everything setup and tested to confirm working, then I turn off Wi-Fi Setup Network as it says "This mode can be disabled after setup is done." then I lose connection to device.
Then I go to controller and find wifi is turned off then I have to setup all over again. This happened three times.
After a struggle, it seems setup network is turned off and I can still connect to device from my mobile devices and I see my home app says update Accessory wifi setting because homekit having trouble connecting. Does wifi setup network has to be on?

Hi, Gene
After the setup is successful, the RainMachine Pro Setup Network should close and won't be accessible again until you enable it or reset the device.
Since you successfully set up the RainMachine device, it should be connected to your local Wi-Fi network and the Homekit bridge will be able to discover it.
If for any reason you cannot control the RainMachine Pro device through the HomeKit, then, remove the accessory from your Home app and add it again.
There is an issue we will need to address in order to completely shut down the Setup Network AP mode so it won't be visible if it is OFF.
Thank you for your understanding, GeneJulian

I reported it a few weeks back here: https://support.rainmachine.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360053178313-Disabling-setup-AP-on-new-firmware-resets-WiFi-settings-Pro-16-v-4-0-1152-
Same as you-- there's no turning it off currently, it still broadcasts hidden, if you try to turn it off then it wipes your network settings.
Personally I'm working to run ethernet to my garage so I can see if that remedies the problem.
