Does not connect to Netatmo module. Authorization error. Login\password checked, reset to default made.

Does everyone have normal weather from Netatmo? On July 10, I stopped updating. Created new tokens, wrote them to settings, but the service is not updated... (

I had to restart Rain-Machine (it takes a very long time to restart by the way) and then the token picked up and started working

Unfortunately, the situation with tokens repeats itself again. For more than a crescent, the weather from Netatmo has not been updated. Changed tokens, overloaded the device. Useless. Like others at the moment?

Mine works at the moment, but I had to reset the Tokens a couple of times over the last two month.
But it didn't work with just the new Tokens, a Rainmachine Restart was required.

Next time I'll just try the restart first. If it works again after that, that would mean the issue isn't on Netatmo's side?🤔

I've given up on having netatmo on Rainmachine directly. I've added a very simple parser which just gets data from an URL. The URL is generated with a (also) simple Python script on a server with modern software. The entire Netatmo token handling is solved in several libraries which one can use. On the Rainmachine that's not really possible due to the ancient Python 2.7.

I have to set up a new Token every couple of (3-4) weeks an then it works again for some time. There is no need for me to restart the Rainmachine Hardware.

Unfortunately it is very pathetic NOT to use a home weather station to control watering... (

Who uses new tokens, you just reset them and create new ones (Reset keys) or completely create a new apps (unfortunately, created and unnecessary apps cannot be deleted)

Since quite some time the new token only works for about a week or so and has to be generated again after that. Anyone else observing this?

Yes, it is. Token does not live long. And even sometimes you have to remove and reinstall the parser....

Maybe it makes sense to write to everyone in the technical support of our controller (it seems that they still answer), maybe you need to change the parser? I think that two legal entities will quickly agree on why tokens do not live long... (((

“ Netatmo API - API Domain Name Change

Dear Netatmo developer,
We hope this message finds you well.

We are writing to inform you of an upcoming change to our API domain configuration. As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline and improve our services, we will be retiring the domain api.netatmo.net and consolidating all API traffic under the existing domain api.netatmo.com.

Effective Date:September 8, 2025

To ensure uninterrupted service, we kindly ask you to update your applications to use api.netatmo.com exclusively before the above date. The structure and functionality of the API remain unchanged — only the domain name is affected.

Will this effect the Parser-Routine to fetch data from Netatmo by September, 8.th?
