Mini 8 won’t connect

    Hi, Preston
    Yes, when you connect to the Mini-8 AP Wi-Fi hotspot it has no internet connectivity.
    Please for now, forget your local Wi-Fi network settings on your mobile phone and connect again to the Mini-8 AP (A letter showing on Mini-8 display).
    Once you connect to it, open the RainMachine mobile app on your phone and you should see the RainMachine-XXXXXX listed on DEVICES screen.

    Tap on it and start the setup.
    When you are asked to connect to your local Wi-Fi network, choose it from the list and tap connect. Automatically, if the Wi-Fi password you enter is correct, both Mini-8 and mobile phone will connect to that Wi-Fi network in this order.

    Since they are both successfully connected to the same local Wi-Fi network you will be able to see it listed on DEVICES screen under the LOCAL NETWORK section (iOS) or listed with its local IP address under its name (Android).

    My rain machine mini 8 will turn on but never get into a ready mode.. the LED segments just rotates clockwise. is it because of the internal battery... needs to be replaced after several years.
