Couldnt access via local access, started trial - still hounded and couldnt access
Went to access our controller today and could not access it.. App claimed no RM devices found -- the RM is on the same WiFi network as my phone... Multiple refreshes, a reboot of the RM did not resolve.. Needed to access the controller so in desperation - started premium trial.. OK, fine.. But then everytime I access the app, I get a premium trial pop-up -- and STILL could not access the controller.. Finally I gave in and just purchased the subscription. Magically, that got me access... But in the process -- I lost the month of the trial I started today.. How do I get my subscription extended? Why doesnt the paid subscription start AFTER the trial?
Terrible implementation - did you test any of this before you deployed this garbage? If you pay for premium, do you have any intention of FIXING the crap thats been broken for years??

Hi, Rick
- During the Premium Services Trial you can fully access your RainMachine device through the RainMachine Cloud Servers.
- You can dismiss the popup by tapping the "Not Now" button until you decide to subscribe. The popup was just an information on how many trial days has left and Apple requirement to have a button to start the subscription process.
- Apple Subscription service allows you to subscribe during the trial period and of course you lose the remaining days from the trial by doing that. They are not automatically added. That's how Apple Subscription works through your Apple ID.
We will add the a full month at the end of your 1-year subscription if that's ok.
For local network access using the RainMachine iOS app you should follow the steps/troubleshooting described in this article:

We are really sorry for the experience you had, Rick
Thank you for your understanding.Julian
