Can't connect locally with Android
-
Hi
Please make sure that your Android mobile phone Wi-Fi connection doesn't fall back to mobile data.
You may see it connected to Wi-Fi, but becasue of the low signal it may fall-back to mobile data connection and that's why you cannot control the RainMachine device.
Other thing you can do:
- if you know the RainMachine device local IP address you can try to add it into the RainMachine Android app using the Direct Access feature.
- tap on the menu upper left icon and choose Network Settings - Direct Access - Add new - give it a name and enter https://192.168.100.100:8080 on the URL or IP address input field and save it. The 192.168.100.100 has to be replaced with your RainMachine local IP address. Make sure you use https:// and port :8080Hope that helps
