Can I use RainMachine to control my Pool Pump?

I have a 3/4 hp Century pool pump that starts and stop on one of those analog timers with a clock and stop/start screws on it.   I'd like to use the RainMachine to turn it on and off every day.  Is there any reason I shouldn't try this?  Anyone done it? Advice?

  No reason why not if you have a spare output and a 24v relay to fire and control the 110v.
