Hi, I am based in the UK and apart from the power adaptor (source locally) will this system work if i use local Wounderground data etc?

Irrigation system are not as popular or common over here, so there is not many products to choose from. Rainmachine looks promising as it appears open-source, plenty of features with good integration and most importantly actively developed.

  Hi JP,

    You can use our devices in UK without problems. You can use Wunderground and other weather data services like MetNo, NetAtmo. Please see the list with compatible weather data services here.

  you have to replace the power supply - Rainmachine doesn't provide a global one (100-240V), only US voltage!

  I will attempt to order one in the US as I have a relative visiting at the moment, so will save international shipping costs.

  Wow, maybe you can "import" two to Europe ;-)

  I'm currently checking the best and cheapest way to import one Mini-8 2nd Gen to Austria, but the shipping costs from this store are incredibly high...

  PS: You know about the 25% discount for the new Mini-8 on Amazon?

  But only valid for US shipping...
