Wifi connection is Good, but device says "No Lan"

    Are you referring to LAN: none in Pro-8 mini-screen ? That means that Ethernet is not connected. Can you make sure that phone and device has the same IP network ? This is most frequent issue with HomeKit showing "not responding" phone and device are in different networks.

    I was yes.  So I shouldn't worry about LAN:none then right?

    The phone and device are on the same IP network.  They're connected to the same SSID and have the same subnet mask.  I can ping the device from the phone.  Everything seems good EXCEPT that the RainMachine doesn't appear to be advertising it's MDNS record.  dns-sd shows all of the other devices in my home EXCEPT the RainMachine.

    FWIW, rebooting the device clears the problem for a few days, but it always winds up in this same situation again within a week
