iOS version 4.6.121 broke direct access.
iOS version 4.6.121 broke direct access. I can no longer access my Touch HD 12 station Rainmachine via the iOS application. Can still access it via web interface. Could access it with prior version of iOS application.
This Rainmachine is on a VLAN and not in the same subnet as my iOS devices. Please, fix.

Hi, Doug
Would you please try to add your device again?
All you have to do is to tap on the upper left corner hamburger menu and choose
Network Settings - Direct Access - Add Device - Enter its name and its IP address and Save it.Sorry about that.
Let us know if that worked for you, Doug
Thank you.

Ok, Doug
Please enroll on our Apple iOS Beta channel and as soon as we have the fix we will release it there.1. Install Apple TestFlight iOS application on your iPhone/iPad. Then access this web link on your Apple device: https://testflight.apple.com/join/mTPgsVCc
2. You'll be automatically added to our beta testing program and you will be notified by Apple TestFlight when you can install the RainMachine iOS app.
3. To revert to the current stable App Store version of the RainMachine app, just uninstall the beta app, open App Store and install the RainMachine application.
Thank you for your understanding, Doug

Hi, Doug and Piotr
We just released an update of the RainMachine iOS app on AppStore
v4.6.122(2)
If you joined and installed the Beta version, the AppStore will say that you already have the version installed.
To download and install the Stable release from AppStore you might need to uninstall the Beta version.
After the fresh install from AppStore you will be automatically removed from the Beta channel until you choose to update using the TestFlight app.
You will have to add your Direct Access RainMachine again.
Let us know if the issue has been fixed for you.
Thank you both for your report, patience and understanding.
Julian

Hi, Piotr
Yes, the one you installed few days ago is the one from the Beta channel. It will expire in 90days. You'll need to uninstall it and install the one from the AppStore. They are the same with minor other bugs fixes on the Stable one from the AppStore.Your other requests were sent to the team in charge.
Thank you, Piotr

Confirming that iOS app version v4.6.122(2) has fixed the problem with adding Direct Access machines in the v4.6.121 version for me. After deleting the app and downloading v4.6.122(2), the zone images were absent until I edited each zone. As I clicked on "Edit Zone" for each zone, the images magically reappeared. Thanks for the fix.

No such luck with my latest iOS App v4.6.122(2) on my iPhone X. Trying to access my Touch HD12 via Local Network just yields an endless spinning circle. My RM does appear on "Local Network" with the correct IP address. And I can access it just fine if I use "Remote Access" instead.
I saw the previous tip about trying to re-add the RM to my App. I select the Hamburger Icon on the top left of the App screen and use "Network Settings" to enable Direct Access. Adding my RM with its IP address now yields a new choice on the Devices page labeled "Direct Access", along with the "Local Network" and "Remote Access" choices. Both the "DirecTV Access" and "Local Network" selections just result in a constant spinning wheel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That Piotr. I edited my previous post after I discovered this under the Network Settings. Now I have both "Local Network" and "Direct Access" choices on my Devices page. But both of those just lead to a spinning wheel and won't connect. Only the "Remote Access" choice works properly.
Also, my iPhone and RM are connected to the same home WiFi network.

No, directly on your network. The IP number and port 8081. Like http://192.68.1.12:8081
