Program not started - again.
I am running out of ideas and patience. It was scorching hot yesterday, not a drop of rain for several days. The RM was supposed to start today morning and water 130%. But it did not start, I did not get any notifications, and there is no watering record for today. The RM did not reboot for 5 days, so this was not a restart problem. The log shows that the forecast was updated just about at the same time as the cycle was supposed to start. What is happening?

Hi, Piotr
If your program is set on Start Time to use "Finish by XX min before/after sunrise" then we do have an issue with this feature when the RainMachine device is using the WUnderground weather service, beside other weather services or just this one alone.
We will try to fix that, but for now, if you are using this, please rely on a fixed start time setting.
Thank you for your understanding, Piotr

Mine continues to not work (I reported this years ago). I just gave up and went with a manual time. Not sure if they do eventually fix it, if users who do not pay for the premium service will receive the update.

Hi, Doug
This is not a new feature, this will be a fix. Of course all our users will get it. Please get the info from us and from our website.
Now would you please let us know what is the issue with your program?
Do you have the same start time with Finish before/after sunrise and use WUNDERGROUND weather service?Thank you.

Hard to tell what is a "new feature" after 3 years. Not sure where you think I am getting my information from other than your website, but...
Yes, as reported in 2019, both Finish before/after sunrise and WUNDERGROUND.
Per my post from August 2019:
... it was fixed after 4.0.954, but was broke in 4.0.1131 again. -
This “smart” controller has been one step above a hose for years despite my repeated pleas for a fix. It won’t water according to weather. Ok, I’ll just set a program. But it won’t follow the program. Ok, I’ll do spot watering via Alexa. Oh, it refuses to work with Alexa, says it’s watering but it’s not. Fine, after hundreds of dollars and countless hours of my time I’ll just use it as a hose I can control as needed with the app. Except now the only way I can do that is if I’m at home unless I pay for “premium” service. This company will be out of business in less than a year—as I predicted, it’s customer service/support is exactly like skydrop and it’s business model seems the same. They don’t sell it anywhere anymore. I warned you to be better to customers …
